Attempted murder investigation underway after stabbing in Iwilei

HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police have opened an attempted murder investigation after a stabbing in Iwilei on Tuesday night.
It happened around 7:20 p.m. on Sumner Street.
Police said a 26-year-old man was stabbed multiple times.
The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Officials said the suspect is not known at this time and is still at large.
