HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - Pearl Harbor National Memorial has closed as part of a growing push to prevent the spread of coronavirus by limiting large crowds.

The memorial is one of the most popular spots on Oahu for visitors.

The National Park Service said it made the decision to close temporarily following guidance from CDC and public health officials. It has not said when it might reopen.
