HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - Contractors with Hawaiian Electric will be delivering an 80-ton transformer Wednesday morning, which could lead to a slow-down for some drivers.

Between 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., a slow-moving convoy will make its way from Downtown Honolulu to the Makalapa Substation in Salt Lake.

The over-sized load will be accompanied by a police escort.

Drivers can expect slow-moving traffic along the route during that time.
