HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - A proposal to have camera-enforcement at traffic lights moved forward at the state Capitol on Friday.
The cameras would record vehicles that run red lights in urban Honolulu.
Under the plan, the police department would review every case before a citation is mailed to the owner.
The bill needs more votes in the House before crossing over to the Senate.
