Flames were spotted coming out of a unit on the 15th floor of the 20-story condo tower. A portion of Wilder Ave. was temporarily closed between Pensacola and Thurston Streets. It has since reopened.

HFD said no one was home at the time flames began. It was reported that a man and a woman were in the process of moving in to the unit with their minor son.

Firefighters got the flames under control by 6:48 p.m. and had it fully extinguished just before 7 p.m.

HFD said the building did not have a fire sprinkler system but it did have a fire alarm.
