HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - It’s not every day that you see a huge dust devil on Oahu.
But that’s exactly what West Oahu drivers spotted Tuesday.
Jared Yamamoto snapped a photo of the dust devil, which formed in Ewa about 12:15 p.m.
Dust devils are formed by rising air, while funnel clouds descend from storm clouds.
And if you’re wondering, dust devils are typically harmless.
