HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - Max Holloway defended his UFC featherweight title tonight in the main event of UFC 240 against Frankie Edgar, winning by unanimous decision (50-45, 49-46, 48-47.)

The Waianae native was able to stuff 12-of-13 takedowns from Edgar, keeping the fight on the feet and at distance.

With the win, Holloway improves to 21-4 in his career and has now won 13 fights in a row at 145 pounds.
