HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - All shelters that were open on Maui in response to a major wildfire have been closed Friday, but officials said two of them may reopen if conditions worsen.
Officials say the following shelters may reopen.
- War Memorial Gymnasium, where 170 people were reported to be seeking shelter.
- Kamalii Elementary School, where 253 people were seeking shelter.
