DOE Superintendent talks about new 2030 Promise Plan, teacher recruitment and priorities for summer

HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - Superintendent Dr. Christina Kishimoto joined us on Sunrise today to explain the new plan for the DOE which is centered around 5 “promises.”
She also gave us an update on teacher recruitment as they try to draw quality educators into our schools. She also told us her priorities going into these summer months.
