WAIHEU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) -Investigators said a three-vehicle fire in Wailuku Friday morning was intentionally set.
Flames broke out just after 4 a.m. on Waiehu Beach Road. Three cars parked 10 feet away from a building went up in flames.
The Maui Fire Department said the building was evacuated as a precaution while fire crews worked to put out the flames.
The blaze caused about $700 dollars in damage.
An arson investigation is ongoing.
It’s unclear if anyone has been arrested in connection to the case.
