Woman found dead in a vehicle on Kauai’s East Side identified

ANAHOLA, KAUAI (HawaiiNewsNow) - Kauai authorities have identified a woman that was found dead in a vehicle earlier this week.

On Wednesday, the woman was identified as 45-year-old Wubnesh Hylton. She has no known address, according to authorities.

Her body was found around 6:30 a.m. Monday morning at the end of Poha Road in Anahola.

A passerby discovered her body and alerted authorities.

Emergency crews responded, conducted CPR, but she was unable to be revived. She was presumed dead at the scene and later transported to Wilcox Memorial Hospital.

An autopsy to determine her exact cause of death was performed, but the results have not yet been released. However, police said they do not suspect foul play.
