The no. 2 name for boys was Noah, while Elijah rounded out the top three, according to the Social Security Administration.
For girls, the second-most popular name was Isabella and Aria was the third.
Liam and Emma were also the most popular baby names nationwide last year.
The most popular Hawaiian name for boys is Kai, which took the no. 11 spot among the most popular baby names last year.
For girls, parents gravitated toward Malia.
Which names didn’t get as much love?
Xander was the 100th most popular baby name for boys in the islands last year, while Savannah had that distinction for girls.
