ANAHOLA, KAUAI (HawaiiNewsNow) - Kauai authorities are investigating the discovery of a body in a car in Anahola.
Police said the body of a 46-year-old woman was found Monday in an area referred to as Kumu Camp.
A passerby found the woman around 6:30 a.m. and alerted authorities.
Emergency crews responded, conducted CPR, but she was unable to be revived. She was presumed dead at the scene and later transported to Wilcox Memorial Hospital.
An autopsy has been scheduled to determine her exact cause of death. Her name has not yet been released.
The investigation is ongoing. Police have not said if foul play is suspected.
