HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Make that 14 state titles for the Punahou boys baseball team after the Buffanblu took down Mililani in the DI Baseball Championships Saturday night at Iron Maehara Stadium in Maui.

Punahou (17-4) went ahead in the bottom of the second inning with three runs before scoring another three runs in the fifth inning to go up 7-3, putting the game out of reach for the Trojans.

Jake Tsukada led the way for the Buffanblu going 2-of-3 from the plate scoring a run and recording an RBI-double. On the mound, Tyler Shimabukuro pitched 4.3 innings, allowing just one run in the win.

The state title marks the first time that Punahou has won since 2010, after winning winning seven-straight from 2004-2010.
