UH-Manoa welcomes thousands to campus for commencement

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Thousands of students and family members headed to the University of Hawaii at Manoa on Saturday for commencement exercises.

The morning ceremony kicked off at 9 a.m. and runs until noon.

The afternoon ceremony starts at 3:30 p.m. and ends around 6 p.m.

Before and after each ceremony, residents should be prepared for heavy traffic in the area.

The University of Hawaii said 2,200 students are graduating at the two ceremonies.
