HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - After graduating from Mid-Pacific Institute, one could say green and white were always Jenna Kumabe’s colors.
After a standout prep career, she chose to continue her softball dreams in California for two years before friends and family would bring her home.
Growing up in Hawaii and finishing her career for the hometown university was always a dream for the second baseman.
“This was the biggest moment for me," she said. “I always knew that I wanted to end my career in front of my family and friends, there’s nothing like coming home, it’s just the perfect way to end my career."
Kumabe will graduate with a business degree.
