Hitchcock says Aloha after 6 years with the Wahine

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Brittany Hitchcock’s storied Rainbow Wahine softball career has come to an end.

In an emotion-packed Senior Night this evening at the Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium, the sixth-year senior said Aloha to teammates, fans and coaches after pitching her final game as a member of the Wahine program.

With her pitching career in the rear-view mirror, Hitchcock can look back on a six-year span that saw her rewrite the record books in multiple categories.

She become just the 13th pitcher in program history to record over 20 wins in a season and the first Hawaii pitcher to record 20 wins since Kaia Parnaby posted a program record 39 wins in 2013.
