HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -There is a brand new charity event happening this Saturday in Kapolei. It’ll combine a fun evening with a chance to help provide excellent health care for the people of west Oahu.
The Queen’s Health Systems is hosting the inaugural “Illuminate Twilight” walk. HMSA and Hawaiian Electric Company are primary sponsors and Hawaii News Now is the media partner.
It’s a benefit to help Queens expand and add services at The Queen’s Medical Center West Oahu – which has already proven itself a crucial health care asset for the entire west side.
The event is from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at Kapolei Regional park. The walks starts at 5:30.
Queen’s expects more than a thousand walkers to take part in the 2-mile walk around the park while enjoying food, entertainment, a keiki zone and a wellness fair.
A $25 registration fee for adult walkers will also get you a swag bag and access to all the activities for the entire family. There’s no cost for kids.
Sounds like a great event that will become an annual tradition supporting those growing communities.
