HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Parents are invited to share their ideas for public education for the next decade.
The state Department of Education is unveiling its “2030 Promise Plan.”
It’s based on five promises to students: A Hawaii-centered education, equity, school design, empowerment and innovation.
Those who wish to provide feedback can do so by going to the DOE’s online toolkit.
Feedback will be gathered through Aug. 1, and a first draft of the plan will be available in September.
