HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A front moving through the islands this weekend is bringing heavy rain, gusty winds and overall instability to the atmosphere.
The front made its way onto Kauai and Oahu early Saturday and is heading down the island chain.
Forecasters say there is a possibility for thunderstorms in some places.
There are no major warnings currently in effect, but the National Weather Service said at 8:15 a.m. Saturday, the rain gauge at Poamoho in Central Oahu picked up an inch of rain in 15 minutes.
