HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - CVS is closing 46 stores across the country, including two in Honolulu that have been operating as Longs pharmacies.
The two locations include one in the Hale Pawaa medical building on Beretania Street and another in an office building on Kapiolani Boulevard.
The closures add to a growing list of retailers that have been closing. The pharmacy giant said many of the locations have been “underperforming.”
According to Business Insider, the company said customers’ prescriptions have been transferred to nearby CVS Pharmacy locations and is also working to place affected employees to other stores.
