HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Talk about a big boat.

A 5,000-passenger cruise ship ― Royal Caribbean’s Ovation of the Seas ― pulled into Honolulu Harbor on Wednesday, and scores of passengers disembarked to see the city.

The vessel is the largest cruise ship ever to dock on Oahu.

Typically, Honolulu Harbor sees cruise ships with about 2,500 passengers.

The ship, which came in from Tahiti, is set to depart Thursday night for Vancouver.

Curious about the ship itself? It’s practically a small city in itself.

The cruise ship boasts a surf simulator, live shows, and 16 places to eat, not to mention bars and lounges. It’s part of Royal Caribbean’s so-called Quantum class of monster-sized vessels.
