Business Report: DBEDT vote, new director at Kamehameha Schools, Smart Yields partnerships

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - On today’s business report, the Hawaii Senate will vote Thursday on the nomination of Mike McCartney to head DBEDT, the Department of Business, Economic Development & Tourism.

Also, Kamehameha Schools has a new director of internal audit, replacing Jay Arakawa, who had the job on an interm basis.

Finally, Honolulu-based Smart Yields describes its two grant partnerships with the Hawaii Department of Agriculture and the Hawaii Farm Bureau.
