HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Take a bow, Logan Pouelsen.

When the Rainbow Warrior baseball team needed some life, the team turned to its energetic clubhouse leader who delivered a three-run walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to five Hawaii an 8-6 win over Cal State Fullerton Friday night at Les Murakami Stadium.

Hawaii (15-20, 5-6 Big West) trailed 6-4 heading to the bottom of the ninth before mounting the comeback when Scotty Scott scored on a wild pitch to put the score at 6-5 in the ninth, when Ethan Lopez and Maaki Yamasaki followed suit and got in scoring position.

Pouelsen crushed the fourth pitch of the at-bat over the fence for the storybook ending victory over the Titans (16-18, 4-4 Big West).

Jeremy Wu-Yelland earned the win after pitching the final 3.0 innings out of the bullpen. Cade Smith was solid in his third start of the season, pitching 6.0 innings while yielding five runs on seven hits.

The series finale versus Cal State Fullerton is slated for Saturday, April 20 at 1:05 p.m. HT at Les Murakami Stadium.
