HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A man accused of dragging a woman at an Iwilei bus stop and sexually assaulting her has been charged.

Isa Lucky, 25, was charged Friday with kidnapping and third-degree sex assault. He’s being held on $75,000 bail.

The incident happened about 6 a.m. Wednesday at a bus stop front 866 Iwilei Road.

Police said the victim was waiting for the bus when the suspect approached her, dragged her across the street to a building and sexually assaulted her.

He then fled the scene.

After a public plea, police were able to track down a suspect Thursday afternoon.

Lucky was arrested in Kalihi for kidnapping and third-degree sex assault.

The incident is the latest in a string of kidnappings or attempted kidnappings on Oahu in recent days.

Earlier this month, a UH student was kidnapped and sexually assaulted during a horrific, hours-long ordeal during which the suspect also allegedly threatened her life.

And this week, police sought the public’s help to track down a suspect in an attempted kidnapping and assault in Kapolei.

Police also arrested a suspect in a separate attempted kidnapping in Salt Lake.

This story will be updated.
