HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - After nearly a week, Board of Water Supply crews have completed repairs to a 30-inch transmission line in Punaluu.
Although crews completed repairs to the transmission line on Haleaha Road, they are still working to patch up the road. As a result, the road will remain open to local traffic only.
Repairs have been slow-going since the break around 5 p.m. Friday.
HECO crews responded to repair a downed utility pole Saturday, which slowed the work of BWS.
