HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Rainbow Warrior football team is going to be spending more time with an old opponent.
The University of Hawaii and New Mexico State University have agreed to extend their football series, which include four upcoming games.
A home-and-home series was announced for Sept. 5, 2020 and Sept. 25, 2021.
Two more games have been added, with Sept. 23, 2023 in Honolulu and Aug. 24, 2024 in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
The last time the teams played was back in 2011 when they were both part of the Western Athletic Conference. Both teams faced annually from 2005 to 2011.
The Rainbow Warriors lead the all-time series against the Aggies, 8-0.
