Police ask for public’s help in tracking down man missing for 1 year on Kauai

KAUAI (HawaiiNewsNow) - Kauai authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a man last seen over a year ago.

Alexander Gumm, 25, was last known to checking out of the Kauai Beach House Hotel in Kapaa on Feb. 23, 2018.

He moved to the Garden Isle in Feb. 2018.

Other details about his disappearance are unclear, and police are hoping friends or acquaintances will come forward and help locate him.

He stands at 5-feet, 11-inches tall, weighs approximately 160 pounds and is of Caucasian descent. '

He has two distinctive tattoos: An eight-inch long blue staff with energy spirals on his left forearm, and another blue tattoo on his right hand. It’s a the symbol of the third eye.

Anyone with information about Gumm’s whereabouts is urged to call KPD Dispatch at 241-1711 or Crime Stoppers Kauai at 246-8300.
