HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The #2 ranked men’s Warrior volleyball team has not lot a set in the month of February and has still not lost a match all season.
The Warriors kept their streak alive with another sweep of the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters winning dominantly 25-9, 25-17, and 27-25.
The win gave UH their 10th straight win, as the team is off to the programs most dominant start in school history.
Brett Rosenmeier and Filip Humle each had nine kills and hit .375 to lead the Warriors. The Railsplitters (7-6) battled valiantly in the third set and nearly brought the sweep streak to an end.
Lincoln Memorial had three opportunities in the final frame to steal a set but UH would erase any chances of an upset after all-american Stijn Van Tilburg would sub in late in the match and score the final two points of the evening.
The Warriors will take the next week off before opening Big West Conference play with a two-match series at UC Irvine, March 1-2 in Irvine, Calif.
