HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The No. 2 ranked Rainbow Warrior volleyball team made a statement Friday night at the Stan Sheriff Center with an impressive sweep ( 25-15, 27-25, 25-22) over No. 8 Stanford.
The Warriors (4-0) were led by junior opposite Rado Parapunov's 17 kills, hitting .375 with six digs and four blocks.
Senior outside hitter Stijn van Tilburg tallied 11 kills and two aces while senior setter Joe Worsley dished out 41 assists and a career-high five kills.
The two teams will go at it again this Sunday in Honolulu. First serve is set for 6 p.m. HT.
