Heads up, Rainbow Drive-In fans! A third location is opening on Oahu

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - How can you go wrong with the boneless chicken plate, two scoops rice, mac salad and of course — gravy all over?

Or maybe you’re a fan of the shoyu chicken or beef stew? (And let’s not forget the slush floats.)

Whatever tickles your taste buds, you can soon get your local food fill at a third Rainbow’s Drive-In location, coming to Pearlridge shopping center.

The third location will open in the Wai Makai food court, previously known as “Downtown.”

On Friday, @RainbowDriveIn posted a sneak peek of the new location on Instagram. No word on an official opening date yet.

It’s the latest expansion for Rainbow Drive-In, which has two other locations: The original on Kapahulu and a second spot at 1339 N School Street in Kalihi.

For more than 50 years, they’ve been serving up the good eats at low prices.
