We continue to be the envy of the nation with our picture perfect weather! The winds continue to trend down as we head into Thursday. The winds will begin to shift behind a cold front later this week.
Overall, just a few showers have popped up on the radar within the sea breeze flow. As we head into Friday, a weak front will be heading our way. We will see shallow clouds along windward neighborhoods. We are not expecting a whole lot of rain over leeward neighborhoods, but some heavy pockets over windward neighborhoods from west to east on Friday into Saturday. Right behind the front, north winds will take over and give us a little chill in the air.
The NWS has surf alerts up. A large west-northwest swell will continue to spread across the area waters tonight. A High Surf Advisory will continue for the north and west facing shores through 6 pm Thursday. A second west-northwest swell of slightly smaller size is expected to arrive Thursday night and Friday. This swell may extend the advisory into Friday night. East facing shores will have elevated surf tonight which will decrease Thursday. A small south swell tonight will decrease to background levels Thursday.
Hope you are enjoying your week.
