Large influx of box jellyfish invade Oahu’s south shore

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Warning signs are posted on Oahu’s south shores following an invasion of box jellyfish Friday.

Lifeguards reported an influx of the stinging creatures along Waikiki and at Ala Moana Beach Park Friday morning.

More than 200 people reported getting stung by jellyfish.
