HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Firefighters have extinguished a blaze that scorched around one acre of brush on Diamond Head on Tuesday.

The fire started around noon near homeless camps above the main lookout.

By 12:48 p.m. firefighters had the blaze under control.

The brush fire started about noon.
