HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - With several issues polarizing the country, we’re talking about how to manage what’s called “all or nothing thinking.”

“All or nothing thinking” can be described as being a rigid thinking or a thinking that there is no “middle ground” or “gray area.”

Britt Young, a licensed marriage and family therapist, says it’s important to teach children to be open-minded and to show them that it’s fine to have mixed feelings.
