HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The eruptions in lower Puna have all but stopped.

But authorities and residents are still grappling with how (and whether) to rebuild.

Amid that work, new aerial images put into focus the extent of the destruction from the months-long eruptions, which destroyed hundreds of homes, decimated whole communities and dramatically altered familiar landscapes.
