Hot and humid conditions will continue over the islands as a trough stalls just west of the state. There's a lot of moisture ahead of the trough that could trigger locally heavy rain and a chance of thunderstorms for Kauai County, which is under a Flash Flood Watch through late tonight.
For the rest of the state, there's an increasing chance of afternoon showers, and even a slight chance of afternoon thunderstorms on the Big Island. High temperatures will be in the upper 80s and lower 90s, but because of the humidity it's going to feel much warmer, with "feels like" temperatures in the upper 90s to lower 100s.
A small to moderate north-northwest is expected Thursday into Friday, while south shores will see some pulses. However, no advisory level surf is expected.
