A Flash Flood Watch remains posted for Kauai and Oahu until Tuesday morning. Heavy rain and thunderstorms are possible for the west end of the state through the night. Scattered showers with more elevated humidity levels are expected Tuesday. Winds will be light easterlies. Stronger tradewinds with more comfortable conditions are due back Wednesday.
Surf is dropping on east shores and there's still a fun swell for the south side. However, there may still be a lot of runoff from the weekend's rains, so it might be best to stay out of the water for now. Box jellyfish will likely be lingering around south shore beaches until Wednesday.
