Manoa (KHNL) - The Rainbow Wahine softball team entered Thursday's Chevron's Spring Fling Tournament double header against Wisconsin and California, riding a two game winning streak.
But that streak came to an abrupt halt, as the 'Bows were shutout against the Badgers in the first game, 3-0 and pounded by the Golden Bears in the second game, 10-1.
In the first game, it remained scoreless until Wisconsin put up three runs in the 4th inning. Wisconsin's Livi Abney hit a two run home run to center, her first homer of the season.
In the second game, California wasted no time getting on the board with three homers in the 1st inning off UH starter, Sarah Robinson.
The Wahine are now 10-and-15 on the season.
