MANOA (KHNL) - The University of Hawaii men's basketball team needed a win against New Mexico State in their final regular season game to avoid the "play-in" game for this week's WAC Tournament.

But the Warriors looked flat against the Aggies and now they not only finish the regular season on a four-game losing streak, but they will now face Fresno State in the dreaded "play-in" game on Tuesday night.

UH committed 14 turnovers in the first half and scored just 25 points.  They finished with 21 turnovers and shot just 32 percent from the field.  Not enough against an Aggies team that finishes 9-7 in the WAC.

The Warriors finish the regular season, 13-16 overall and 5-11 in the WAC.  So as the 8th place team in the conference, they must beat the Bulldogs on Tuesday night to advance to the WAC Tournament.
