An Oahu grand jury determined there's enough evidence to send Tittleman Fauatea, 25, to trial.
Investigators say he went to the Ewa Town Center last Friday, unwrapped a kitchen knife he just purchased, and repeatedly stabbed Asa Yamashita, 43, who was eating on a bench.
After securing the indictment, prosecutors asked a judge to confirm Fauatea's bail at $500,000. A Circuit Court arraignment date hasn't been set.
