HONOLULU (KHNL) - After two trials and a delay in sentencing, an Oahu man finally received his punishment for a fatal stabbing more than three years ago.

A Circuit Court judge on Monday sentenced Frank Sanes to 20 years in prison.

Jurors in his second murder trial last November convicted him of the lesser charge of manslaughter. His first trial ended with a hung jury.

Prosecutors say Sanes stabbed Bill Refilong, 21, to death using a large knife. It happened in front of a bar at the Waimalu Shopping Center in December 2005
