Arlene Baker OTR came to Hawaii because "therapists were needed at Wilcox Hospital. They paid for my trip and accommodations for a 16 month working relationship. " She has been on island since 1989. Working in home health since she arrived, her experience led her to work with Easter Seals pediatric clients. Her expertise includes hand therapy, giving modified barium swallow examinations and working on dysphasia safety. "I guess you can say, I am a general practitioner of occupational therapy. I love to spend time with my family and enjoy working with the patient in the home situation which I believe is the best way to implement therapy."
