'Bows Win Series Finale against UC-Irvine

Manoa (KHNL) - The fourth time was the charm for the University of Hawaii men's baseball team, as they win the series finale against 9th ranked, UC-Irvine at Les Murakami Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Freshman pitcher, Matt Sisto allowed just two runs over 7 innings to get the win, while Nick Hoover gets the loss for UCI.

UCI took the early lead in the first inning, but UH came back to lead 2-1.  Then in the bottom of the 3rd inning, the Warriors put the game away with a 4-run outburst, to take a 6-1 lead.

Kevin McDonald drove in 3 RBI in the final game between these two teams.

The Warriors will now hit the road for the Dairy Queen Classic in Minneapolis from February 26th to March 1st.  UH is now 1-3 on the season.
