MANOA (KHNL) - They called themselves the best offensive team to take the field in years at Manoa. However, the University of Hawaii Rainbow baseball team couldn't get much offense going against 9th ranked UC Irvine.

The Bows fell 5-1 in their season opening game. Hawaii was held hitless until the 8th inning, the same time they also scored their one and only run.

The two teams play again in a double header on Saturday, and then will play in a fourth and final game on Sunday.
