HONOLULU (KHNL) - The Honolulu Medical Examiner's office on Tuesday identified the man who died after participating in Monday's Great Aloha Run as Scott Tanikawa, 58, of Honolulu.

Event officials say Tanikawa finished the eight-mile course, but was later found unresponsive in the Aloha Stadium parking lot. An autopsy on Tuesday confirmed he suffered a heart attack.

It's the first death in the history of the event.
