KAHUKU (KHNL) - She's listed as a rookie, but that couldn't be farther from the truth for 19-year old Michelle Wie.

The Punahou alum is playing in her first LPGA tournament as a card carrying member, but she turned professional in 2005.

The last time Wie played at home was last year at the Fields Open in Hawaii where she finished tied for 72nd.

On Thursday, she'll make her debut as an LPGA member at the SBS open at Turtle Bay, the same course she finished 2nd on, in only her 2nd tournament as a pro.

"I think i'm pretty confident, i'm feeling pretty comfortable here, I think that goes hand in hand, but like I said i'm feeling a bit of nerves, but i'm also feeling a huge dose of excitement and that's helping my confidence as well, but i'm looking forward to it, and I want to have fun out there again," said Wie.

Michelle tees off at 12:50 from the first tee on the Turtle Bay Palmer course. Tickets are $10 a day, or $25 for a four day pass.
