KAPOLEI, HI (KHNL) - It's a side of Mother Nature Hawaii rarely sees - her fury touching down on Kapolei Golf Course. Robyne Mobley lives right along the perimeter of the course, and took video of the tornado from her bedroom window.

"What I first say was a large huge black tunnel that was full of black debris, long black debris, that was spinning up with birds and all kinds of debris inside of it," said Mobley.

As the twister danced and tore through parts of the green Mobley realized it was heading directly towards her condo.

"Once I started seeing it come towards me, that's when I slammed my window shut, got down on the carpet and started taking pictures without looking - just sticking it up on the window sill taking pictures, I'm barely peeking because I'm basically afraid for my life because it's coming right at me," she said.

Mobley says the tornado got so close, it brushed up against her lanai, and blew a couple lids off her plastic bins. But the raging tunnel cloud suddenly switched gears, darted left, sparing her condo and her life.
