HONOLULU (KHNL) - There's two questions Manti Teo is tired of hearing.
"Where are you going? When will you make your decision?" said Teo.
His answers are simple. He'll make his decision on Wednesday, and he's going to either USC, Notre Dame, or UCLA.
"USC is USC. They know how to win and they demonstrated in the past decade that Pete Carroll and his staff know how to win, and they get the players to believe in the same thing they do. Notre Dame has strong tradition, they're rebuilding. Coach Charlie Weis said he wants somebody to put a spark in his football program. Then UCLA is in the same situation, they're trying to rebuild, trying to look for the players to turn their program around. Norm Chow is there -- a Punahou alum and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints -- and many of my friends are going there and that's pro for them," said Teo.
There is a chance Manti won't even sign on Wednesday, much like highly touted quarterback Terrelle Pryor did last year before choosing to go to Ohio State. However, Teo says that's highly unlikely.
"I don't really want to wait, I just want to get it over with. I have a gut feeling about it, and everybody supports me in that decision. I just gotta research and talk to my parents about it, and we'll see," said Teo.
One reason why he wants to get it over with is because he's ready to get back to the life of a normal 17-year-old.
"The biggest thing I'm looking forward to is being a high school student again. I've been bombarded with all this recruiting stuff, and I can't wait to enjoy my senior year. It's an exciting time, and a crucial time, and I hope and pray that I make the right decision. And whatever decision I make I will look forward and not look back, and just take advantage of the what the University has to offer," said Teo.
