Warrior Seniors Feel Tulsa's Pain

The football Warriors face Tulsa this week, a team that's fallen on tough times. The Golden Hurricane have lost 16 straight games, that's the longest skid in major college football. And while you won't find any Warriors that are looking to take it easy on Tulsa this Saturday, you might find a few who are sympathetic to what Tulsa's going through.

A core of players on this year's Hawaii squad began their UH days back in 1998. That year Hawaii went 0-12 in the middle of what eventually became a horrendous 19 game skid. Those players are now basking in the hey-day of the June Jones era, but they also remember the dog days of losing. And that's exactly what makes this year's Tulsa squad a dangerous team. They would sell their souls for a win, something Hawaii's fifth year seniors understand.

The Warriors and Golden Hurricane kick off at 6:05 Saturday night. You've got three options: stop by Aloha Stadium, catch the game on pay-per-view or watch it on K5 The Home Team Saturday night at 10:00.
